Cellular · Telnyx Wireless

Telnyx is the launch partner.

The first cellular provider plugin to ship inside Beacons. Telnyx provides the physical wireless infrastructure — Beacons orchestrates fleet-bound APNs, custom IP pools, and SIM-to-DID identity binding on top.

What it gets you.

  • Private APN routed directly into a fleet
  • Custom IP pool per fleet
  • eSIM via GSMA RSP — install profile, bind to did:oas
  • Per-SIM data caps + alerts via Cabbage meters
  • Provider failover policy slot — promote from a Phase 4 sibling

How it slots in

A CellularProvider implementation.

Beacons holds the Telnyx API credential and exposes a fleet-scoped surface. Fleet operators never touch raw Telnyx APIs.

SIM identity is minted at activation: did:oas:<ns>:tool:sim-<iccid> is published to the OAS resolver chain.

Plugged into the same CellularProvider trait every other provider implements — Telnyx, Twilio, Soracom, Hologram, 1NCE, Particle. The fleet operator picks one or more providers per fleet, and Beacons routes ordering, activation, and usage queries to the right one. See cellular overview.
